Forest School at Sutton 2022

Nature watching, quiet crafts and climbing were the order of the day today. Millie brought her own seeds to plant and lots of the children enjoyed decorating sticks and climbing trees. Can you spot the two ducks who have made a home on our pond? We finished with a game around the fire.

As we arrived into the Forest area today, we found 2 ducks swimming on our pond! The children watched them calmly and quietly. We wondered if they had made a nest somewhere… As well as the ducks moving in, the children noticed how different the forest area looked- “It’s more green” “There are more butterflies”. The rest of the session was all about imaginative games and tyre rolling today.
