Green Class- Exploring the Forest ๐ŸŒณ๐ŸŒณ๐ŸŒณ๐ŸŒณ

Green Class were so excited to get back to Forest School today. They loved exploring the forest area and playing with their friends. We’ve had lots of requests for campfire cooking next week…

Red Class- A rainy, sunny day ๐ŸŒง☀️

Image
This afternoon started with rain and ended with sunshine. We began the session by making a new boundary using cones to keep us safe from the trees that had been damaged by the storms over half term. The children were very sensible and demonstrated excellent awareness of how to keep themselves and others safe. We were super nature detectives, searching for signs of spring. We were careful stick transporters, moving branches in teams or dragging them along behind us. Children said they enjoyed playing on the muddy hill, building dens with our parent helpers and relaxing in the swing chair. A wonderful session, enjoyed by all.

Orange Class- Farewell Fire Fun

Image
This was the last Forest School of the spring term for Orange Class. They will continue with their sessions again after Easter. Today we celebrated a fantastic six weeks together with toasting marshmallows and drinking hot chocolate around the fire. The children also enjoyed the usual den building and mud kitchen fun too. Thank you to all of our wonderful adult helpers today.
